US President Joe Biden is set to speak to UK prime minister Boris Johnson today about the build-up of Russian troops around Ukraine.
Ukrainian intelligence said around 190,000 Russian troops are assembled on its borders, and thousands more are due to arrive in the near future, PA reported.
Russian troops are currently stationed in Belarus where they are currently doing what is being described as military drills. The Belarusian leader has arrived in Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where it will be decided how long Russian troops will stay in the country.
Russia is set to conduct nuclear drills on Saturday where Putin will oversee the exercises being carried out by troops. This is set to include the launch of ballistic and cruise missiles.
World leaders are set to arrive in Munich for a security conference, including Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US Vice President Kamala Harris and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. No Russian delegation will be present.
