HBO Max is set to launch their services in the UK and Ireland in March.

The streaming service which produced the hit shows Euphoria, The White Lotus, The Last of Us and House of the Dragon is set to launch on 26 March in a market rollout expected to expand their audience.

Like US viewers, UK and Ireland viewers will have on-demand access to HBO’s most popular shows, including Sex And The City and revival Just Like That.

For people without a NOW TV subscription, the platform will offer four subscription tiers:

  • Basic with Ads – £4.99 per month
  • Standard with Ads – £5.99 per month
  • Standard – £9.99 per month
  • Premium – £14.99 per month

Across all four subscriptions, viewers will feature content from HBO, along with content from Warner Bros Pictures, Warner Bros Television, DC Studios as well as Max Original shows and movies.

For Sky customers, they will be able to access HBO Max with adds without an extra cost. The Pitt, a Max Original, will premiere in the UK and Ireland the day of the launch. The platform will also show their new highly anticipated Harry Potter TV Series, expected to air in 2027.

President and managing director at Warner Bros Discover in UK and Ireland, Andrew Georgiou, said: “Launching HBO Max in the UK & Ireland marks a significant moment for viewers here.”

“HBO Max will offer them their most loved series and movies from HBO, Warner Bros and DC Studios, alongside premium sports from TNT Sports in the UK, within an outstanding single destination for this great content and strong value proposition.

“Nowhere else will you be able to get The Pitt, House Of The Dragon, Euphoria, Lanterns, Superman, One Battle After Another, as well as the eagerly awaited Harry Potter series, all together.”
