Evian has launched its new sparkling water at a glittering art installation, created by Sara Shakeel, in East London. But does the canned drink taste as sparkling as the exhibition looks?

The entrance to the exhibition is a massive Evian sparkling water vending machine that take you to a sparkly London bus.

But the canned drink tasted like nothing more than ordinary sparkling water. The bubbles are slightly less electrifying than the average sparkling water found in supermarkets. Also, the aesthetic of the pop-up installation, Evian x Sara Shakeel, itself may have subconsciously improved the taste.

The free pop-up art exhibition at at Protein Studios in Shoreditch, east London, is only open on 4-5 February.

British tennis player and Evian’s global ambassador, Emma Raducanu, attended yesterday’s exclusive opening of the Sara Shakeel exhibition.

The pop-up art installation features Shakeel’s trademark sparkled items, from sushi and cakes to skateboards and a studded Evian water bottle.

Sara Shakeel became famous after her digitally sparkle-filled art pieces became viral on Instagram. Now, she has more than one million followers.
