Police are investigating reports of shots being fired on the Central Michigan University campus.
Those on campus have been advised to take shelter by the police, according to a tweet from the official Central Michigan University account.
Michigan State Police confirmed that two people have been shot. The shooter is still at large.
Central Michigan University is a public research university, funded by the state. It is located in Mount Pleasant, which has a population of just over 26,000 people. It is known as being a lively student town.
