Metropolitan police are on an ongoing hunt for the ‘Croydon Cat Killer’ who has reportedly killed hundreds of animals on a 117 mile distance of the M25.
Detectives say the killer most likely temps the pets with treats before cutting off their tails, paws and clubbing them to death with sharp objects.
A £10,000 reward has been set for anyone that catches the killer. Police arrested a trucker earlier this year after five cats had been decapitated and left in plastic bags in Northampton. In spite of this however, detectives do not believe that this was not the work of Croydon’s notorious cat killer.
Investigation is ongoing, with the most recent attacks having taken place last weekend in Chigwell, Essex with two cats found deceased.
