The University of Westminster is hosting a Virtual Reality in Industry event today at their Regent Street campus. The free event aims to build an understanding of how businesses can adopt virtual reality and benefit from the technology. The event will include demonstrations of the latest virtual reality technology as well as talks from experts.
In December of last year, The University of Westminster’s Department of Computer Science collaborated with Linguisticator Ltd on the development of the alpha version of a Virtual Reality software prototype. The software will be used to teach languages using a memory palace but it’s thought that it also has the potential to expand for other learning applications.
The Virtual Reality in Industry event is running until 6pm today and requires pre-registration to attend. For more information on the event click here
