Beyoncé fans are rushing to secure for tickets for the UK-leg of her Cowboy Carter World Tour after tickets went on sale at midday.
But many fans posted concerns on social media about rising ticket prices, with seats for the six shows at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this June costing up to £950.
Demand for tickets comes after Beyoncé won Album of the Year at the Grammy’s for her country and R&B album, Cowboy Carter.
Many UK fans signed up for pre-sale tickets in advance, hoping to beat the competition, but some expressed concerns about soaring prices.
Tickets for the 2025 show have risen since her 2023 Renaissance World Tour. The lowest price for tickets this year is £71.60, while premium seats reach an eye-watering £950.
A fan on TikTok expressed his frustration: ” Seated tickets for £700, are you joking, in this economy. People are struggling, we don’t have £500 for one ticket, that’s insane.”
In 2023 tickets ranged from £56 to £199 for standard options, with VIP packages extending to £2,400.
Despite the cost, thousands of fans have set up early and are joining online queues in hopes of securing a ticket.
The price surge isn’t unique to just Beyoncé as many exciting shows are planned for this year. Ticket sales have also begun for Ozzy Osbourne’s final show with Black Sabbath, as well as Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s UK tour with similar prices.
The Cowboy Carter World Tour is expected to run from April to July 2025.
