Team GB return home shining from Milano Cortina as the Winter Olympics come to an end.

Team GB’s Olympians returned to the UK having secured their most successful games to date.

Five medals, including three golds, were won in total. Team GB finished 15th out of the 93 Nations. Until now, they have never won more than one gold medal at the Winter Olympics.

Kicking off Team GB’s gold rush were Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale in snowboarding, followed by Matt Weston and Tabitha Stoecker in the mixed skeleton. Captain Bruce Mouat won silver in Men’s curling and Zoe Atkins secured bronze in the halfpipe.

Team GB is hoping for an even better medal haul in the 2030 Olympic games.

The Premier League’s title race heats up, who will be crowned champion?

Arsenal silenced the mid-week noise from their one-all draw against bottom ranked Wolverhampton Wanderers and beat North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 away from home. The question is, will this spur them on to winning their first Premier League title since 2004?

Mikel Arteta’s side sealed the emphatic victory over newly appointed manager Igor Tudor. A brace from both of Arsenal’s summer signings in Victor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze secured their victory.

However, with Pep Guardiola’s formidable Manchester City just five points adrift with a game in hand, it would be unwise to count out the six-time champions just yet.

Michael Carrick’s unbeaten Manchester United side will be looking to continue their league form tonight as they travel to take on Everton at Goodison Park.

Will Scotland stop France in the Six Nations?

France remain headstrong in their fight for a 20th title with what could be their third in five years. After a steadfast win against Italy yesterday, their sights are now set on Scotland.

France currently stand at the top of the Six Nations table with 15 points, Scotland are second with 11 points. The pair are set to meet at Murrayfield on Saturday, March 7th.

England and Wales Cricket Board sends out ‘reminder’ to the Hundred franchise over Pakistani players’ shadow ban

The England and Wales Cricket board (ECB) has sent a written reminder to all eight of the Hundred franchises about their commitment to inclusion and anti-discrimination.

The reminder comes after a BBC Sport report revealed that four Indian-owned teams are not considering Pakistan cricketers ahead of the Hundred auction next month.

The controversial decision comes amongst highly volatile and historic political tensions amongst the two countries, where even now, Pakistani cricketers are not permitted to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the world’s wealthiest and most popular cricketing league.
