Police have closed off roads to protect residents and the public from any possible dangers.

Yesterday afternoon, Officers surrounded the property in West London at 2.12 pm. According to My London News, witnesses told them: “There are more than 50-60 police, and I don’t know if anyone’s been shot.”

This was an ongoing incident that Police have been dealing with, however, a Police spokesperson told My London News that: “residents can be reassured that there is no risk to the wider public.”

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “A man has been arrested following an incident in Southall.”

Chief Superintendent Peter Gardner, West Area BCU Commander, said: “We would like to thank residents for their patience and co-operation while we resolved this matter. We would also like to thank the local authority and specialist firearms officers for their assistance in peacefully resolving this incident.”
