People in Brixton have been left without water after a pipe burst on Thursday afternoon.
This came after two areas in West London saw flooding caused by similar ruptures.
The leak in Brixton Water Lane closed the road for over 12 hours, while engineers worked on the burst Thames Water pipe.
Residents of the Herne Hill area took to Twitter to raise the issue with Thames Water.

Oh dear. The Effra appears to be rising up at Brixton Water Lane, at the junction with Dalberg Road and Effra Parade. Road very much closed. pic.twitter.com/aTSS3tbmsf

Herne Hill Labour councillor, Jim Dickson wrote: “Residents in Briton Water Lane seeing water begin to flood their cellars and basements.”
Another day, another @thameswater disaster impacting Lambeth residents. Brixton Water Lane currently an example of norminative determinism. pic.twitter.com/8W8txNRlR3

King Street, Hammersmith was left under 20 inches of water on Friday after a pipe rupture. Emergency workers rescued 70 people trapped in cars, homes and restaurants.
The London Fire Brigade and Thames Water responded to a major flood in Shepherd’s Bush on Thursday.
A family on Goldhawk Road were forced to evacuate and parts of the road were closed off.
The South London district previously saw a flood on one of its busiest roads last year. Brixton Hill was brought to a stand-still and cordoned off by police in late July.
Thames Water reported that the incident did not affect any water supplies on the road which joins Brixton and Streatham Hill.
